how do i get paid for the vehicle?

We can pay you via bank transfer or bank cheque. If cash is required, please contact us to discuss.

How long will the whole process take?

Most of the time the process will take within 24hrs. Once you accept the offer, an inspector will come to view your vehicle if the condition is as you described it, we will pay you instantly for your vehicle.If the condition varies from how you described, we will discuss the price with you further. Things such as previous damage, incomplete service history, customization and other wear and tear items can affect vehicle values.

Can I sell a vehicle on behalf of someone else?

Yes, you can sell the vehicle on someone else’s behalf, we will require current registration papers and current drivers licence from the registered owner, along with an authorisation letter to on-sell the vehicle. You will require 100 points current ID to act on the owners behalf ie. (Current drivers licence and medicare card.)

How do I notify the RMS that I have sold my vehicle?

We will assist you with the paperwork process to notify the RMS you have sold your vehicle.

What paperwork and proof of ownership do i need?

We require current registration papers and current drivers licence for proof of ownership.

There is outstanding finance on my vehicle – Will you still buy it?

Yes, we will purchase your vehicle with finance owing. We will require a current payout letter from your finance provider. If the payout is lower than your agreed selling price we will payout the vehicle and pay you the remaining balance. If the payout figure is higher than your agreed selling price, we will payout the vehicle and you must pay your finance provider the balance.

Can I sell a vehicle on behalf of a company?

Yes, you may sell a vehicle on behalf of a company. We require an invoice for sale of vehicle, current registration papers and 100 points of ID ie. (Current drivers licence and medicare card.) from the nominee selling the vehicle on behalf of the company.

Can I keep my personal plates?

Yes, of course you can keep your personal plates. Once you have accepted your offer, you will need to put your plates into “Hold” at your local RMS. They will issue you another set of plates for your vehicle.
